Resolution- Which camera is best to deliver us the standard quality of images? No doubt both have same kind of sensor size but it’s canon that has been incorporated with creative 51mp of resolution in 5DSR means the images delivered by this camera will render amazingly sharp and rich clarity images than that of the Sony RX1R II.

Low pass filter-  The optical variable low pass filter of Rx1r II has three settings include “off”, which provides comparable effects and is suitable when prioritizing resolution, “standard”, which maintains a balance between resolution and removal of moiré and color artifacts, and “high”, which places more emphasis on reducing moiré and artifacting. Whereas, no low pass filter into the 5DSR enables the camera to achieve more details of the target subjects.

AF points- 399 plane phase and 25 contrast detection sensor of Rx1R II will be distinctive performer in tracking the subjects instantly and more precisely while the 5dsr has just 61 points of AF.

ISO- The users of Rx1r II will be much confident during low light shooting since the camera offers and expandable ISO range of 102400 whereas, the 5dsr offers 12800 range of ISO.

Shutter speed– The shutter speed of 5dsr is 30 sec 1/8000 sec that let the photographers to track the fast moving subjects with much comfortable. On the other hand the Rx1R II has 30 sec 1/4000 sec.

Videos-  Rx1R II is able to support full HD 1920×1080 video recording at frame rates of 60p, 30p or 24p through use of the creative XAVC S movie recording format.

Display- A 3.0″ LCD Rear Screen Tilt (1,288,800 pixels) LCD display that can be tilted upwards up to 109 degrees and downwards up to 41 degrees, allowing for a greater range of shooting angles and positions.

Shots- You can take 700 different shots with 5dsr on the other hand you can take 220 shots only with Rx1R II.

Verdicts- The selection of one good camera from these two is not easy, but, as per ISO range and the AF system we’ll give Rx1R II the priority. So, no problem if you choose Rx1R II.
