Sony A7R II – a true Canon 5DS R killer

Recently we published rumored post related to the curved sensor of Sony A7R II. Now Sony announced its latest full frame 42.4MP mirrorless camera with an image stabilization and BSI CMOS sensor.

It has totally different on-sensor phase detection elements for faster autofocus compare to its predecessor. It includes upgraded shutter mechanism upto 500,000 actuations with low vibration compare to its predecessor Sony A7R. The Sony A7R II has the ISO range of 102,400, which is much better than its predecessor’s 25,600.

According to CIPA standard The Sony a7R II gained 5-axis image stabilization at 4.5 stops.

It can capture 4K (UHD) video at 30p/25p or 24p in the XAVC S 4K format. The camera can take 4K video either from its full sensor width or from a Super 35 crop.

The camera will be available at the cost of $3,200.
