As we know Nikon announced the world’s first full frame astrophotography DSLR Camera namely D810A on 10th February, 2015.
Today we have the rumored information via CR that Canon followed the path of Nikon and it has decided to launch the similar astrophotography DSLR camera in the coming year 2016.
It has already announced its APS-C astrophotography DSLRs, the EOS 20Da and the EOS 60Da in the past.
So we expect that it’s feature will be similar to Nikon’s D810a.
It is expected that it will carry 36.3MP camera to capture the colorful celestial images, due to its modified infrared filter the camera will become more sensitive to hydrogen alpha light at 656 nanometers in wavelength. It will also include a feature of a Long Exposure Manual Mode that may offers shutters speed increments of 4, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, 600 and 900 seconds.
The exact date of its announcement is not known yet.
