Asus has announced a new smartphone named the ZenFone Zoom at Las Vegas press conference, a smartphone decorated with 3x optical zoom lens that is only 12mm thin. yet we have no more details on processor specifications but the ZenFone Zoom installed with Android 5.0 ultimatum and features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen and up to 128GB capacity of built-in storage.
it’s all are the specifications which makes the smartphone more elegant.. A 13MP sensor is combined with a 10-element 3x zoom lens that offers a maximum aperture of F2.7-4.8. Optical image stabilization is on board as well.No information yet accumulated on the sensor size but a supposition may be made after watching the dimension of this thin device that it could be 1/3-inch variant common to most smartphones.
Camera modes include a low light mode, HDR, enhanced beautification mode and a manual mode. Like on the LG G3 a laser-AF system makes sure your images are in focus.

on the other hand there is a dual color led flash and a 5mp front camera with f2 aperture. the optical zoom of this handset can attract the users who likes to take shots on mobile but the solution is yet to get what the comparatively slower aperture means in empirical terms. It it will be more interesting to see the quality of the pictures as compared to the intelligent digital zooms.
The Asus Zenfone Zoom will be available in Meteorite black and Glacier white and may bang the market in the months from May to August of 2015 and cost $399 before taxes.
