DC Watch interviews Ricoh, Fuji, Olympus and Panasonic

some effective points shared during interview by Ricoh, Fuji, Olympus and Panasonic with DC watch.

RICOH: 

  • No plans for GR zoom lens
  • development of the full frame DSLR camera is mentioned by Pentax, yet no releasing date has given.
  • New K mount lenses will be in 2015
  • can’t say anything about the future of GXR system or no other information on a new mirrorless camera.

FUJIFILM:

Fuji interview: no words for excitement: At present the company has no plans for full frame or medium format cameras and they will not let their concentration to drift while making the high resolution APS-C sensors

OLYMPUS:

Interview with Olympus didn’t brought any interesting facts, and we came to know that they are not interested in fullframe or medium format sensor.

SONY:

In the interview with Sony executives, the main topics of discussion were high-megapixels cameras, improved AF and future sensor development. Any plans for a Sony medium format camera were refused.

PANASONIC:

They are also focusing on high mega pixel camera and upcoming mirrorless camera with 8k video recording capabilities.
